Summary

A new 2.0 litre L4 DI diesel engine which achieves the best performance in its class, improvement of NVH and which at the same time meets the Japanese new emission regulation (Post New Long Term) is developed. Based on EURO4 technologies, Nissan’s new clean technologies are applied. The combination of Lean NOx Trap (LNT) that is the first application for a diesel engine in the Japanese market, and Nissan’s new control technology achieves clean emissions.
