Deadlines for Virtual Speakers 2026

31 January 2026:
Submission of the lecture text as a pdf for publication in the symposium proceedings. A template you can find here, opens new window.
Submission of the CV of the lecturer in German and English. Such CVs should consist of maximum 20 lines (maximum of 1,500 characters) as well as a portrait photograph in a printable resolution (min. 7 by 9 cm, 300 dpi). A template you can find here, opens new window.

27 February 2026:
Half-price participation for one virtual speaker per lecture at the face-to-face event, the participation slot is reserved until 27 February 2026. For a possible second virtual speaker and additional co-authors, the applicable participation fee will be charged (optional).

2 April 2026:
Submission of the video in English language.

Registration and Participation

Virtual speakers have the option to register one speaker per lecture for the face-to-face event at half price.
Registrations under these conditions are guaranteed until 27 February 2026, after that date, registrations are subject to availability.
For a second virtual speaker and any additional co-authors, the regular registration fee will be charged.

Web Platform

All registered participants, speakers, students and media representatives of the International Vienna Motor Symposium receive access to the Motor Symposium's Web Platform.
From the symposium onwards, the digital congress documents and the videos from the “Virtual Hall” will be available in this area for a limited period of time.
After the symposium you will also find the recording of the complete lecture programme here.
You will receive information about your login details via email a few days prior to the event.
