Summary
DENSO developed a new diesel engine management system "D-FRESH (Diesel-Fuel Robust Engine SHining)", which features a FIE system capable of achieving optimum combustion independently from regions, fuel quality and other conditions. In addition, as a new aftertreatment system is developed which will improve fuel and conversion efficiency. D-FRESH is a solution to contribute to the further spread of diesel-powered vehicles and machines in the world. To cope with the increasingly stringent emissions and fuel efficiency regulations in the highly regulated countries such as Europe the focus is on innovation, high performance and fuel metering accuracy while the new markets have been covered with proven technology. However, the automobile market in China, India, Brazil and other emerging countries is growing sharply and has a demand for tailored solutions.
