Summary

Enhanced legislative requirements, (e.g.: CO2, WLTP, RDE) and increased customer demands (“positive driving experience”) as well as the integration of all relevant information originating from the traffic environment (“connected vehicle”), result in dramatically elevated complexity and diversity of future powertrain systems. On top, the shorter model cycles and the increasing consideration of customers “Real World Driving”, result in even more demanding challenges for the powertrain development. Incorporating extended “Real World” boundaries like adding the stochastic Real World Driving to the conventional synthetic test cycles, an effective development requires the objectification of subjective parameters as well as a repeatable assessment of complex characteristics like Real World Emissions.

Lectures from the International Vienna Motor Symposium can be ordered from the Austrian Society of Automotive Engineers (ÖVK). Lectures can only be purchased in the form of the complete conference documents, individual lectures are not available.
When placing an order, please note the year/name of the event (e.g. "45th International Vienna Motor Symposium 2024") for the further ordering process.

Order

Members of the Austrian Society of Automotive Engineers have access to all lectures of the International Vienna Motor Symposia.
