Summary

Almost 85 percent of today’s world population is living in “Emerging-Regions” wherein a rapid growth of inhabitants is forecasted to continue for the next two decades. Asia’s economy will return to international top level, and more than hundred millions of people will be elevated from poverty within the next decade. A huge group of middle class citizens will emerge and the demand of premium consumer goods will rise. The growing numbers of households with the potential to afford a vehicle plus the increasing urbanization are just two examples of the essential market drivers for these rising economies. These nations will become more and more powerful and will be vital markets for worldwide operating ventures. In order to participate successfully in the future, enterprises will have to adjust, create tailored business models, and develop customized products for the domestic markets.
