Summary

Motorsport belongs to the DNA of Audi. Hardly any other automobile manufacturer is active on the world’s racetracks in such a sustained and consistent manner. With systematic technology transfer from motorsport into series products, Audi continually recharges its “Vorsprung durch Technik.” The success story of the TDI is convincing evidence of this strategy. For 25 years now, Audi has led the way with direct-injection and large-range TDI diesel engines. With their innovative efficiency technologies, they epitomize the responsible use of available energy resources for the mobility of the future.
