Summary

Mercedes-Benz is driving the shift towards zero-emission mobility. Sustainability is one of the key elements of our corporate strategy and at the same time a benchmark for the company's success. With the Ambition 2039, Mercedes-Benz is pursuing its path to sustainable mobility.
It is a long-term vision of electric and CO2-neutral mobility. In 2039, Mercedes-Benz's new vehicle fleet will be CO2-neutral, not only during the operating phase, but also for the entire life cycle. For this purpose, there is a concrete package of measures across the entire value chain. The presentation will give an insight into how Mercedes-Benz will shape its transformation. On the drive side, the approach is a three-lane strategy for the next years of transformation, modern internal combustion engines with 48V electrification, plug-in hybrids and all-electric drives.
Mercedes-Benz is counting on a rapid expansion of the portfolio of xEVs, improvement of range and efficiency as well as an improvement of the charging experience through a holistic concept for customers.
In addition, the presentation provides an insight into other areas of transformation. New approaches such as factory 56, a state-of-the-art production facility in Sindelfingen, the goals in the value chain and the creation of the Mercedes-Benz Drive Systems Campus at the Headquarters in Untertürkheim.
