New xONEsolutions are set to redefine the future of electric vehicle (EV) powertrains as already seen in projects with world-renowned OEMs, offering a leap in efficiency, cost savings, and design flexibility. The xONEdrive approach redefines electric drive technology by integrating the key components of a traditional Electric Drive Unit—such as the motor, transmission, and onboard charger—into a single, compact solution that achieves up to 98% efficiency as tests have shown and reduces the BOM costs by 32%. This modular design eliminates redundant interfaces, allowing for a plug-and-play approach that simplifies integration for OEMs without the need for separate EDU, chargers, or DC-DC converters. The xONEdrive is tailored to various vehicle applications, including hybrid and fully electric platforms, and significantly enhances space-saving and system packaging, setting a new industry standard in drivetrain solutions. At the same time with the battery becoming more and more important in mobility industry, the xONEbattery offers a groundbreaking approach that uses cell-to-pack design and integrates energy management, drive control, and safety features directly into the battery itself. This innovative architecture supports a wide voltage range from 400 to 1250V. This technology is adaptable for future battery technologies such as sodium-ion, and is designed with high-current handling for extreme performance. Unlike conventional battery systems, the xONEbattery integrates critical functions such as energy management, drive control, and safety directly into the battery, significantly reducing complexity and enhancing overall performance while supporting future battery technologies. Together, xONEdrive and xONEbattery approaches offer a fully integrated powertrain solution that not only supports today’s vehicle needs but also paves the way for future-proof, scalable EV powertrains, driving innovation in the electric mobility sector.
