Summary

The poster presentation describes a comprehensive approach for the reduction of CO2 emissions and combined optimization of end customer relevant vehicle attributes. Thermal management represents a considerable aspect due to interlinked development steps and the need for simultaneous optimization of in part contradictory requirements. Thermal optimization in combination with an extended version of AVL-DRIVE and dynamic vehicle simulation enable new possibilities regarding CO2-minimization, cost efficiency and balanced driving attributes ensuring an overall positive driving experience.
