Summary

Mazda has announced its commitment to achieving carbon neutrality by 2050 and is pursuing the ideal powertrain with the introduction of the SKYACTIV G and SKYACTIV D, which are compatible with the joy of driving, and the advanced version of the SKYACTIV TECHNLOGY series. To achieve carbon neutrality as described above, we will develop and provide technologies suitable for achieving carbon neutrality while taking into account the regional power generation mix based on our strategy of providing powertrains with multiple solutions, from EVs and PHEVs to vehicles equipped with engines. In the future, we will utilize these hardware assets to achieve significant energy savings and pursue the possibility of making exhaust gases, including CO2, emitted from internal combustion engine vehicles cleaner than the atmosphere.
