Summary
A revolutionary new Drive System Test Rig (ASP) enables the validation of both entire alternative powertrains and also complete vehicles. The complex dependencies between the electrified powertrain and the entire vehicle are replicated with regard to mechanical and electrical loads, stresses and environmental temperatures under real conditions for test cases ranging from simulation to component testing to trials in the vehicle. The centrepiece of the Drive System Test Rig for both conventional and also for alternative drive systems consists of the new test rig concept R2R (Road to Rig) which stresses the test object in the very same way as on the real road, with minimum set-up time and without parameterisation of controllers. Furthermore, the assistance systems of the vehicle are also active during the trials on the test rig.
Lectures from the International Vienna Motor Symposium can be ordered from the Austrian Society of Automotive Engineers (ÖVK). Lectures can only be purchased in the form of the complete conference documents, individual lectures are not available.
When placing an order, please note the year/name of the event (e.g. "45th International Vienna Motor Symposium 2024") for the further ordering process.
Members of the Austrian Society of Automotive Engineers have access to all lectures of the International Vienna Motor Symposia.
